Meet Clarita de Quiroz

Clarita de Quiroz is a Scottish singer-songwriter, pianist, composer, and former model renowned for her genre-blending artistry and cultural resonance. Born in Abu Dhabi and raised in Edzell, Angus, Scotland, she began her musical journey at age four, mastering piano and percussion. By 15, she had composed her first concerto, Inamorato, and was named North East Scotland’s “Young Musician of the Year” in 1998.

Her debut album, Speak.Delete.Repeat, released under Sony Music, showcased her versatility as a singer-songwriter. She has achieved three number-one albums in the UAE, including her classical instrumental album A New Key, which topped regional charts in December 2024.

Clarita has performed alongside global icons such as Sir Elton John, Macy Gray, and Kelly Rowland, and has graced stages at prestigious events like the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and the Doha 21st Century Leaders Awards. Her modeling career includes campaigns for brands like Ultimo Lingerie, MAC Cosmetics UAE, and Val Saint Lambert Belgium Crystal.

In 2025, she signed with Believe Music to release an Arabic-influenced album, aiming to bridge cultures through music. 

Beyond music, Clarita holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Sunderland and is pursuing a doctorate at the Swiss School of Management in Dubai. She founded Elite Villa Management in Koh Samui, Thailand, and was recognized among the Khatoonpreneur Top 50 Female Entrepreneurs in 2024.
